What is Rent to Own?
It can seem complicated, but in reality the Rent to Own (or Lease to Buy) program is quite similar to leasing a car. You get to drive your car straight away, pay monthly payments and you have the option to buy it at the end of the term.
Rent to Own is a program for people who want to stop renting but need time to repair their credit or save bigger down payment to qualify for their own mortgage. Now, doesn’t that sound like a great idea? Keep reading!
How does it work?
Rent to Own is an arrangement between a tenant-buyer (you) and an investor (us) who is on title of the home that the tenant-buyer is willing to purchase from the investor at the end of the predetermined period of time at the predetermined price.
Simply put: we help you buy your dream home sooner and partner with you to help you save to buy it back from us for a price we decide on at the very beginning.
Who is eligible?
Our typical tenant-buyer (you) is an individual or family with a steady income and some money saved for a down payment. But perhaps they’re experiencing some financial difficulties to qualify for a mortgage on their own.
This is where we come in.
We’re here to help those who don’t have the best credit history, don’t have enough saved for a full down payment, or perhaps are self-employed and because of this, have a short income history.

To be eligible to participate in this program you will have to meet some income and down payment savings requirements.
After this initial consultation, we will connect you with our mortgage specialist team who will further help to assess your financial position based on information you provided. They will also help to determine the maximum purchase price of your future home and ideal duration of your Rent to Own term.
After we reach a mutual agreement on the action plan for you to succeed in our program, together we will start looking for your future home!
